The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of the People's Republic of China (MARA) recently issued a list of the first batch of agricultural genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in 2022 that were granted the Safety Certificate for Genetically Modified Organisms.
The list contains two parts:
1. The List of Safety Certificates (Import) Issued to the First Batch of Agricultural Genetically Modified Organisms in 2022
2. The List of Safety Certificates (Production and Application) Issued to the First Batch of Agricultural Genetically Modified Organisms in 2022
The first list involves 10 safety certificates issued to applications for extension of old certificates and 1 for new certificate as follow.

The second list involves 21 safety certificates issued to agricultural crops and 15 for other organisms. Of the 21 certificates, 17 are issued to applications for extension of old certificates and 4 for new certificates as follow.
